yes. I don’t feel flattered though. like I have seen other street view blogs pop up and use my coordinates and take pictures from a different angles or down the road in amongst their own views and I don’t mind that really but not even bothering to do that and using them straight off the blog with a watermark of their own. like I would never think of using a watermark. most other street view websites do and they don’t post coordinates but I do because I am just sharing the images and I like that other people can explore them too. I just would never do that to someone else’s hard work. it’s such a spiteful thing to do.
there is a twitter with 35k followers called @googlestreet which has just been basically tweeting views from this blog which they have watermarked with their name. It’s not like they even followed the coordinates and got their own screenshots they just saved them from this blog because they are exactly the same. like why would you do that? I post the coordinates so that people can go explore themselves and I in no way own the images and people can use them how they want. but it just seems like such a dickish thing to do. especially the watermark. they don’t seem to even use street view themselves and are obviously just doing it for the popularity. just ugh. my real twitter is @OessaStreetView if anyone wants to know//
